Skeet & Trap Shooting
Medinah’s Lodge is a hub for our skeet and trap shooting fields. The facility is operational during the fall and winter months, and includes a shooting practice range where members have the opportunity to practice with Medinah shooting instructors.
Sledding & Cross Country Skiing
We provide a variety of fun and exciting activities to our members and families year-round, including sledding, cross country skiing and ice skating!
On-Property Maple Syrup Tapping
Many of the stately maple trees that adorn our golf courses are tapped for maple syrup, which is served in our club’s restaurants atop waffles, pancakes and French toast, as well as added to vinaigrettes, marinades and sauces for members and their guests to enjoy!
Medinah Cares
Medinah Country Club’s employee relief program assists full-time and hourly employees impacted by disaster or financial hardship. Through the program, our employees can apply for aid and grants assisting in disaster and financial relief.
Since the program’s launch in December 2023, we have raised more than $75,000 for our employees, a testament to the tremendous support of our members.
GARDEN-TO-TABLE
Fresh, Homegrown, and Healthy
Meacham's Garden is Medinah's organic garden, which was started in 2016 with 25 raised garden beds, 17 varieties of savory herbs for garnishes, 34 different fruits, and six varieties of fragrant and edible flowers. The garden represents our respect for both food and the environment. We started our chicken coop with 40 chickens, producing 1 to 2 eggs daily, and we became a USDA-certified egg facility to produce and serve the eggs we harvest. The grade AA eggs are washed, candled, and measured on the property before making their way to the kitchen. Our chickens are fed an organic feed, made almost entirely from our garden. We soon after added bees to produce our own Medinah honey!
Implementation
These amenities help support our vision for a unique, wholesome, and family-oriented club atmosphere. Our fruits are used to enhance our cocktails, and our homegrown vegetables and fresh herbs are used for special selections on our garden menu. With tables and chairs around the garden, members and their families can interact with the hens and garden, have coffee and enjoy a little nature break from their busy lives. One of the main uses for our eggs is on our daily breakfast buffet; the eggs are prepared to order at the egg station. These eggs are also used for special dishes in the restaurants. The freshness and quality of the eggs is a noticeable difference and offers our members a unique product that is not readily available outside of our club.
Medinah’s Mobile App
The enrollment process for members to invite a friend or colleague to membership at Medinah is extremely simple through the club’s Medinah Lifestyle App. Members enter a friend or colleague’s mobile number or email address through the club’s app and a link is sent to the Invitee. The link allows the prospective member the opportunity to download a guest version of our app providing them with pertinent information about the club and membership. At the same time, the club’s director of membership development is sent an email to ensure a personal follow up with the invitee.
