We consider Medinah’s 120,000-square-foot clubhouse a home away from home for our members and their families, with six member dining areas, including our Oasis and Fireside restaurants, and our Casbah and viewing deck. Our Food and Beverage staff take pride in providing the highest-quality and most unique experiences for our club’s members and honored guests.

GOLF FACILITIES
LODGE
Medinah’s 5,000 square foot indoor Golf Learning Center provides members with a year-round, cutting-edge practice and training facility. It includes three practice bays with three golf simulators, two instruction bays, a golf fitness area, storage for club fitting and training aids, and a gathering area for social events and activities. Our Practice Facility hosts a short game area and three practice putting greens. Our Golf Shop is currently under renovation and will reopen to our members in Fall 2024.
Medinah Country Club offers a family-friendly swimming pool facility for the entire family to enjoy. Our pool has two diving boards and five swimming lanes. Lounge chairs and shade umbrellas ring the pool deck for tanning or lazy afternoons with a book. The pool features a full snack facility with beverages and indoor and outdoor seating. Little ones have their own area with a mushroom fountain in zero depth water and a sandlot play yard with a slide and chamber. The Mecca and Cabana Bar area offer a place for members to cool off with a meal or a cold drink in the summer heat.
The Lodge is a casual gathering spot where members can shoot skeet or trap, watch a game, enjoy great dinners and theme nights and even take part in a friendly game of cards now and again. The Lodge is the hub for our Skeet and Trap shooting fields. The facility is operational during the fall and winter months, and overlooks Lake Kadijah. Fully equipped to serve food and beverages, the Lodge plays host to a variety of activities throughout the fall and winter.
COURSE NO. 3
TRANSFORMATION
Completed in 2024, we’re proud to have recently opened our newly renovated and reimagined championship course to our members. Medinah’s Course No. 3 has been an important part of American Golf for 100 years, playing host to several Major Championships.
Originally designed by Tom Bendelow, Course No. 3 has changed considerably over the past 80 years, with several well-known architects making refinements and renovations. The recent transformation of our prized gem was a nearly two-year effort led by course architects at OCM (Ogilvy, Cocking, and Mead), our golf operations team and so many others.
We’re excited to unveil what we’ve been working on!
MEDINAH’S GOLF COURSES
COURSE NO. 1
Redesigned in 2014 by famed golf course architect, Tom Doak, Medinah’s Course No. 1 hosts generous fairways and challenging greens, and is a great walking course. Host of the Inaugural Medinah Open, a Western Open and a Chicago Open.
COURSE NO. 2
Medinah’s Course No. 2 was designed by Tom Bendelow. In 2016, the club restored Bendelow's original design with an infrastructure upgrade. This course was designed to be family friendly with multiple sets of tees to appeal to golfers of all skill levels.
THE CAMEL TRAIL
The Camel Trail is Medinah’s short course, which offers our members and families five holes, ranging from 60-80 yards, a fun alternative to playing golf.
THE SAHARA
The Sahara is Medinah’s new 18-hole putting course, which offers our members and families the opportunity to test and work on their putting game.
